McDONALD, James Francis, b Apr 1853, IN to Simon and Ann (KEANY) McDONALD. James married Mary L. NICE Feb 1876 in Macon Co., IL. They were the parents of 4 children, Simon F., Oct 1877; John, Oct 1879; Elmer D., Sep 1881; and Abigail Agnes, Mar 1889. Mary died Nov 1895, and James remarried a Minnie F. (????) abt 1897 in IL. James and 1st wife, Mary, were listed on DeWitt Co., IL 1880 census, Tunbridge Twp. James and 2nd wife, Minnie, were listed on 1900 IL DeWitt Co., Tunbridge Twp. census. Looking for Mildred Spencer (daughter of Levi and Martha French Spencer), Andrew Williams and Henry Webb. Mildred married Andrew Williams 1853 in Dewitt Co. - two children, Daniel Florenze Williams and Osee Williams Andrews. Andrew Williams disappeared between 1856 and 1860. Mildred married Henry Webb in 1860. They divorced in 1865. Old letters indicate that Mildred died about 1914 and could have been in Iowa. Does anyone know ANYTHING about Mildred, Andrew, or Henry? Samuel was the son of John Harper and Lucinda Gano, who were married Aug. 26, 1868 in DeWitt County. Lucinda was the daughter of John Gano and Delilah WARD, and only 16 when she married so her parents were probably in DeWitt County also. Jacob was born 15JUL1826 in Warren Co., OH and died 23DEC1916 in Midland City, DeWitt Co., IL. He first was married to Mary Gustin in 1852 in OH; they had two children who were raised in DeWitt Co., IL after she was deceased in 1859 in OH. The two children from Jacob's first marriage were Alice Jane Trowbridge, who married Howard Rucker and James Alfred (Alf) Trowbridge who married Rachel Jane Griner. Jacob married a second time, 09SEP1865, in DeWitt Co., IL, to Lydia Stout Wallace, whose first husband was killed in the Civil War. Jacob and Lydia had two children who lived to be adults, i.e. Seymour Trowbridge who married Carrie Parker, and Margaret Anna Trowbridge, who married James Merritt (Mett) Duff. Both Jacob and Lydia, plus Jacob's parents and sister are buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in DeWitt Co., IL.

Jesse was a Millwright and ran the Mill in Tunbridge Twp., De Witt Co., IL for many years. Jesse married four times - first spouse was Eliza Moor with whom he had three daughters. After her death he married Rebecca Clemence in OH; she died in Tunbridge Twp., DeWitt Co., IL in 1847. Jesse and Rebecca had one daughter, Eliza Stout, who married a Wm. Wright and a Mr. Cossell. Following Rebecca's death, he married and divorced Ann Walraven Thornley in De Witt Co., IL; later married Jane Leeds 31JAN1856 in Clinton, who is burried with Jesse in Woodlawn Cem. in Clinton. Desperately needing information on Andrew Williams b. abt. 1820 - supposedly in Ireland. Married Mildred Spencer daughter of Levi and Martha Spencer, 1853 in Dewitt County. They had two children - Osee Williams m. Asher Andrews and Daniel Florenze Williams m. 1) Rebecca Reynolds and 2) Luella Tipler. Andrew disappeared about 1858. Supposedly buried in Texas Christian Cemetery. Mildred married Henry Webb in 1860. There is a Mildred Webb buried in Maple Grove Cemetery. Her name is on the same headstone as Edna, Rueben and Evelyn McBride and Ella O'Brian. Does anyone know ANYTHING about Andrew Williams, Mildred Spencer or Edna, Rueben and Evelyn McBride and Ella O'Brian?

I am researching the John Dougherty West/Grace Edith Spiller family. J.D. West was born 17 Feb., 1861 in Holly Springs, MS.
